About Snap

Snap was started by Lauren, a deeply passionate cook based in West Yorkshire, with a desire to bring a fresh and relaxed perspective to event catering. Using the very best ingredients Yorkshire has to offer, served in a convivial, sharing style, Snap offers genuinely delicious food for events and celebrations.

Lauren has lived in India, South Africa, France and London, and has now returned to West Yorkshire, living in Marsden with her young family and Great Dane. Coming from a strong line of incredible cooks, combined with a love for all things delicious, Lauren has honed her craft cheffing in ski chalets, catering parties and events, and feeding friends and family.

Yorkshire is a gorgeous place with incredible produce, and Lauren is lucky enough to have access to some fabulous veg via her Dad's allotment which she incorporates into her food wherever possible. Having spent a lot of time in Umbria, Italy, Lauren regularly returns to simple dishes that let the ingredients speak for themselves. A passionate baker, bread features heavily in Lauren's menus, combined with flavours that incorporate her travels and experiences.
